Research

The research-based STEM model designed by Raytheon and further developed by the STEM Modeling Management Partnership (SMMP) resides upon a robust research foundation. The bibliographies for the K-12 research and higher education research are available. 

BHEF recently developed the white paper, Increasing the Number of U.S. STEM Graduates: Insights from the STEM Education Modeling Project. This report presents insights from developing and testing a system dynamics model of the U.S. STEM education system developed by Raytheon Company and donated to the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF) in July 2009.
